Recovapro's Percussive Vibration Therapy can be used to perform many soft tissue mobilization techniques. Goals include:
A deep friction technique is applied with the round-head attachment by gliding the Recovapro Massage Gun in small circular movements across the common wrist flexor tendon outside the elbow. To improve blood flow and desensitize the area for a more thorough workup, use gentle pressure at a lower intensity, preferably 1 or 2. Stay for 15 to 20 seconds before moving on.
Use the Recovapro Massage Gun to glide along the muscle bellies of the wrist flexors to induce relaxation and tissue extensibility, preferably at a moderate pressure and a speed intensity of 3.
Use the active-release technique to move the forearm into pronation and supination, as well as the wrist into different postures. Continue to apply increasing pressure to the regions of most significant discomfort until tension is released.
Limit each session to 90 seconds and repeat twice daily.
PRECAUTION: avoid the bony prominence while using the massage gun. This may cause discomfort and may aggravate the condition.
